Xtractomatic is a set of free routines that allow client-side access of environmental data served by the Thematic Real-time Environmental Distributed Data System (THREDDS) at the Pacific Fisheries Environmental Laboratory.
Matlab
xtractomatic_bdap.m Routine extracts data along the track of an animal or ship given input of time, and longitude and latitude. User may specify a uniform extraction box or provide a vector of such limits (e.g., based on the 95% confidence intervals of a geolocation routine)
xtracto_3D_bdap.m Routine extracts all available data in a 3-Dimensional cube specified by limits of longitude, latitude and time.
xtractogon.m Routine extracts data within a region masked by a user-supplied polygon. very useful for generating simple time series in regions of special interest, such as Marine Protected Areas and Exclusive Economic Zones.
